Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at the Southern York County Pantry. Whether you’re fulfilling community service hours or organizing a food drive, your time and energy directly support families in need across Southern York County.

We’re so grateful for the incredible support of our community. At this time, we have enough regular volunteers and delivery drivers, but we are still actively welcoming:

🧹 General Pantry Volunteering
Help with stocking, sorting, repacking, and food distribution.
📅 Monday through Saturday, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. (as needed)
⚖️ Court-Ordered & Community Service Hours
We always welcome individuals needing to complete court-ordered or school-related service hours.
All volunteers must complete required training prior to starting.

🥫 Organize a Community Food Drive
The Pantry partners with faith groups, schools, community centers, scout troops, and individuals to organize food drives that help stock our shelves with essential non-perishables.
Collected items are:

Sorted and date checked by our volunteers.

Made available quickly to families in need throughout the region.
If your organization is planning a drive, we’re happy to provide guidance on most-needed items, promotional materials, and logistics.
